On Saturday 9th February 2019 BJJ School Belfast were delighted to host Team Torres Derry head coach Martin McLaughlin for a guard passing seminar. Covering the over/under position, made famous by Bernardo Faria, Martin delivered a fantastic seminar looking at entrys and common problems associated with the position. Over the next few weeks our Advanced classes will focus on this position as we attempt to work these concepts into our guard-passing game.
We were pleased to see students from BJJ School, Team Torres, Gracie Barra, RMNU and others in support of the seminar. This is testament to Marty’s professionalism and reputation as a coach. We hope to have him back very soon.
